I'd wanted to express my opinion for POTC for a long time, now I'd like to share it with you...So, it has many advantages to SD, but as a whole, comparing it with SD, the older game wins! Most of you have felt this, I suppose. SeaDogs is somehow...more interesting, it gives a greater feeling and impression. Yet, POCT has some things I have always wanted to see in SD-land combat, pistols,a greater number of quests, more accessible towns, houses, and of course, better graphics! If the story (the plot) and some of the gameplay elements (like sea fight for me) were better, it could become a masterpiece indeed! Couldn't they continue the story of Nicholas Sharp for example! When I think it over, as if that "worse" graphics creates the wonderful atmosphere of SeaDogs Smiley But POTC also has its typical atmosphere and charm and  it is worth playing. I still haven't installed the mods by AlexuS I downloaded, they may make the game different...

Ye has some pints thar shipmate!    Personally, I just couldn't get 'into' POC but I loved SD.  Cuthroats, was another game I just couldn't come to terms with, it was the blasted crew mutinys every five minutes that got me!   Ye didn't get a chance to get yer teeth into the game before the bloody crew were grumbling again!   Embarrassed       Huh?
